PARKING AND INTERSECTION PROGRAM
The Parking and Intersection Flagging positions are quite easy and require minimal time. Generally you are finished by 8:30 AM.
Parking Volunteers direct people into the various lots and inform people about race shuttle service to the Start Line from the high school and satellite lots. Parking Area assignments are located: Staring area, high school lots, finish area lots and satellite lot.
Intersection Flagging: Volunteers direct people from the South Portland end of Rt. 77 down either Spurwink Ave or on down Rt. 77 where they are then directed by additional flaggers to the Parking and Drop-off locations. With an 8:00 AM starting gun, all positions need to be manned by 6:00 AM and volunteers can be finished by 8:30 AM.
