REGISTRATION PROGRAM
Many of our registration volunteers are repeat volunteers. We have a lot of fun with each other and with the excitement of the event. It’s a great event and full of fun for family and friends.

Registration packet preparation and runner pick up consists of the following volunteer functions:
The Tuesday evening prior to the race runner packets are prepared for the competitors. This consists of placing the runner bibs in envelopes which have pre-printed instructions for the runners.
We also prepare the room for runner packet pick up on Thursday.
Registration runner packet and T-shirt pick up for the 10K and Kid's race is held on the Thursday and Friday preceding the race. Thursday's schedule is 4-8 PM (****This is subject to change *****) and Friday's is 2-8 PM. Volunteers are involved primarily in passing out runner packets and T-shirts. The runners get their numbers from an alphabetical listing posted outside the registration room. Volunteers must assure runners pick up the correct packet by restating the runners name when handing each their packet. Also, when someone is picking up for others, a note is required from the runner and documentation of the person picking up (their name and tel. number) and for whom must be recorded. T-shirt hand outs require a mark on the runners bib number to indicate they have picked up their shirt. Some volunteers are asked to assist runners with directions for getting their numbers and where to go for their packets and general information.
Only Volunteer T-shirts for Registration Volunteers can be picked up at registration.
