All runners will be required to confirm at packet pick-up they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (based on then-existing CDC guidelines) or have a TDB2B pre-approved medical exemption based upon a written statement signed by an appropriate healthcare professional (e.g., doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant) explaining the basis for the requested exemption. Runners who are granted a medical exemption from the vaccination requirement will be required to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result consistent with guidelines to be provided by TDB2B. The Town of Cape Elizabeth fully supports TDB2B’s vaccination policy, which was taken into account when the Town approved TDB2B’s requested use of Fort Williams Park for the race this year.
