Happy Holidays!

As we approach the end of another challenging year, we want to take a moment to thank everyone in our community for your continued positivity and resiliency.

We are especially grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and of course, the 2,000+ runners who participated in our first-ever TD Beach to Beacon Virtual 10K. We loved seeing your photos and videos and felt the collective energy of every one of you who make our community so special.

Many thanks to JMG, our charitable race beneficiary, for its important work enriching the lives of Maine youth. We will be announcing our 2022 race beneficiary early in the new year—stay tuned to our website and social media channels for updates.

We are optimistic that 2022 will bring us back together on America’s most beautiful 10K race course. Planning for the 2022 in person events are already underway. All runners who successfully registered for the 2020 TD Beach to Beacon 10K or who were among the first 1,000 people registered for the 2021 Virtual TDB2B10K will have access to early registration March 1-7, 2022. Cape Elizabeth residents will have the opportunity to register on March 15, with registration for the general public opening on March 16.

We wish you and yours a very happy, healthy, and safe holiday season and year ahead.

About the TD Beach to Beacon 10K
The TD Beach to Beacon 10K draws runners from New England and throughout the world to picturesque Cape Elizabeth. The race begins on Route 77 near the Crescent Beach State Park entrance, winds along tree-lined streets and past breathtaking ocean vistas and ends in Fort Williams Park at historic Portland Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse in the world.

In 2019, the 22nd TD Beach to Beacon 10K included 6,417 finishers from nine countries, 42 states and almost 260 Maine cities and towns.

In addition to the more than $90,000 in prize money awarded to the top finishers each year when there is an in-person event, TD Bank also makes a separate $30,000 donation to a charity or other non-profit supporting the community.   The 2020 beneficiary, JMG, received the $30,000 donation last year and remains the 2021 beneficiary.

For additional information about the race, visit beach2beacon.org, and find the TD Beach to Beacon 10K on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
